The biggest polar bears' 'maternity home' in the world is 31 years old

Annually, from 200 up to 300 she-bears make lairs on the snowy mountain slopes in Wrangler's Island conservation. This wildlife sanctuary was found in 1976 in Russia on Wrangler's Island and Herald Island and occupies about 800,000 hectares. There is also huge number of birds: up to 100,00 nestles of wild-geese. Other birds also live there, as well as walruses, reindeers and musk-oxen.

The Polar Bears of Hudson Bay are under threat

Warming threats the population of Polar bears near Hudson Bay in the North if Canada. The sea freezes a month later now and it is difficult to the bears to hunt the sea lions (their main feed). Starving animals come close to the settlements and try to find some food.

Dear friends,

We're happy to greet you in our site. Your being here means you've heard something about matchless Snowy, who is one of the most famous polar bear in the world. By his age of 4 and a half he has made some journeys, started his own business and even has become the first polar bear in space!

His full name is Snowy Bearry Wight. He was born on 12 November 2002 in Polar City, Albearta. Snowy first demonstrated his restlessness and curiosity in his early childhood. Having hardly opened his eyes, a bear tried to taste snow (that's how he got his name), explored all the neighborhood fell down into a sort of lair and: got into an amazing world full of funny but very dangerous creatures. He first recommended himself as a great snowball thrower (later he won the Artic Circle Snowball Championships for many times).

After this event, in 2003 Snowy started Nordic School. There he became so interested in history and archeology that he was sent to Professor Baloo's Tropical School for traineeship. While studying there, he made two expeditions to Africa. There he found rare and very valuable artifacts, which are in the world best museums now. For his outstanding merit he was graded a Doctor of Archeology degree:

In 2004 Snowy made the 1st Treasure Hunting expedition; in the same year he became the 1st polar bear in space
Later Life	in 2005 moved to Bear-Town, which is to the south of Polar City. He and his friend Browny founded the fishing company 'Fish Frenzy'; a year later, they started their own restaurant, which became the most famous eatery in Bear-Town
